Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are entered into between you (the "User") and KKCode developer junbaor ("we"), and govern your use of the KKCode mobile application (the "App").

You indicate your acceptance of these Terms by any of the following actions:

• Downloading or installing this App
• Tapping "Agree" or a similar button within the App
• Using this App in any manner

KKCode is a mobile client for the official opencode API, allowing users to remotely connect to their own dev machine from a mobile device and interact in real time with the opencode service running there.

Core features include:

• Connecting to your own opencode instance via HTTP/HTTPS
• Receiving and displaying AI conversation content and tool calls in real time
• Approving or rejecting file operations and command executions by the AI
• Managing multiple server connections and session histories

This App does not provide any AI services or compute resources. All AI inference and file operations occur on your own dev machine.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use this App solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

This license does not include:

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
• Modifying the App or creating derivative works
• Distributing, selling, or sublicensing the App for commercial purposes
• Removing or altering any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

When using this App, you are responsible for:

• Network Security: Ensuring the security of your opencode server and network connection, including using strong passwords, enabling HTTPS, and configuring firewalls appropriately.
• Credential Management: Safeguarding the server addresses and passwords stored in the App to prevent unauthorized access in the event of device loss or theft.
• Content Compliance: Ensuring that prompts you send and AI-generated code or content comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Service Stability: This App is a client-only tool; you are responsible for maintaining the normal operation of your opencode server.

You may not use this App to:

• Infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of third parties
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App
• Attempt unauthorized access to another person's opencode server
• Attack or abuse the App in any form

This App relies on the following third-party services and platforms:

• opencode: The AI coding tool this App connects to, developed by OpenCode AI and subject to its own Terms of Service.
• Firebase (Google LLC): Used for crash reporting and anonymous analytics, subject to Google's Terms of Service.
• App Store / Google Play: Distribution channels for this App, subject to Apple's or Google's Terms of Service.

We are not responsible for the content, security, or availability of third-party services.

Specific disclaimers include:

• Service interruptions caused by your dev machine, network, or opencode service failures
• Data leakage due to insecure network transmission (risk is higher when using HTTP instead of HTTPS)
• The accuracy, legality, or suitability of AI-generated content
• Data loss or system damage resulting from user error

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable under any circumstances — whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise — for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

If applicable law does not permit the above limitation, our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for this App in the preceding 12 months (or, if the App is free, USD $1.00).

All intellectual property rights in this App and its content — including but not limited to source code, UI design, text, and graphics — are owned by junbaor and are protected by copyright laws. No reproduction, distribution, or creation of derivative works is permitted without prior written authorization.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App.

If you violate any provision of these Terms, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your access to the App without prior notice. Upon termination, your license under these Terms will immediately cease.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent People's Court for litigation.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via the app's update release notes.

Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
